How To View Performance Data In Your Google Business Profile
How Do I View Performance Data In My Google Business Profile?
Looking at the performance data in your Google Business Profile is very easy to do. Here is how you do it.
To access your GBP page, you want to head to www.google.com/business/ or to business.google.com. They will both take you to the same place. Once you’re signed in, it will bring you to your Google Business Profile account page.
In order to see the performance metrics, you click on Performance. This will bring up a new window with a variety of clickable tabs to see the information you’re looking for.
- Overview These are all of the interactions with your Google Business Profile.
- Calls
- Messages If you do enable messages to your Google Business Profile, be sure that you stay logged in and respond quickly. Google tracks how quickly you respond to the messages.
- Bookings This will have information if you allow bookings through your GBP page.
- Directions The people who have clicked on your address for directions.
- Website Clicks How many people have clicked on your website from your business profile page.
Above those tabs, you will see a box labeled Time Period with a range of dates displayed inside. The default setting is the last 6 months’ worth of data. That is what is displayed on the Overview when you open it.
How Do I View Year-Over-Year Data In My Google Business Profile?
You can also look at year-over-year numbers by changing the date range in Time Period. In order to get the most accurate data, though, the month that you’re viewing must be over. Otherwise, you will be comparing an incomplete month to a completed one.
For the example, we’ll look at the February numbers. You simply double-click February and click Apply. This will give you the numbers comparing it to February of last year. Now, each of the tabs will display the information from this date range.
